Labor exploitation is when an employer abuses your vulnerable position to make you work under poor conditions for little or no pay.

Wage & Payment
- You receive less than minimum wage (€14.71/hour)
- Your wages are not paid or paid late
- You don't receive a payslip
- Unexplained amounts are deducted
- You must receive your wages in cash (working under the table)
Housing
- You pay more than 25% of your wages for rent
- You live in overcrowded, poor housing
- Your employer threatens to evict you from your housing
- You are not allowed to choose where you live
Working Hours & Conditions
- You consistently work 60+ hours per week
- You don't get rest days
- You work under dangerous conditions
- You don't receive protective equipment
Contract & Rights
- You have no written contract
- You are not allowed to call in sick
- You don't receive vacation days
- Your passport is confiscated
Intimidation & Coercion
- You are threatened when making complaints
- You are isolated from family/friends
- You are followed or monitored
- You are afraid of your employer
